I wasn't sure either until he brought in Moloch. Up to that point it could have been spot on! Then I noticed the tags and it had listed humour and satire. But until Moloch made his appearance it sounded like the politically correct dribble I hear often enough.

When my wife was attending the ultrafeminist Bryn Mawr College, the school newspaper reported that Lorena Bobbitt was going to be the commencement speaker.
We were stunned, but not surprised. And then we realized that the date was April 1. Our being fooled was more to BMC's shame than our own - because it was just plausible enough.
If they have to put warnings on cigarettes, maybe we need a special "satire warning." We could propose it to Congress as the Keyboard Preservation Act.
The sad part is that the worship of Molech (child sacrifice) is still very much alive in the Episcopalian Church. It just goes by different names: the gods "choice" and "convenience" these days.
They've even got an official liturgy for the post-dispensation of a child. I won't link it here - it's that horrible, but it's my archives somewhere. ::shudder::
The sad fact is there are many Anglicans who would go along with the views of "From an Anglican Friend." Have you never heard of Bishop Spong? A very bizarre character who has some very strange beliefs.

I lurk over at the (Anglican) Stand Firm site and saw this. What a scream, and so sad, really, that it's almost impossible to tell it's satire!
