This is from the 2007 Harvard commencement. Not only is the speech clever and engaging, funny and delivered with conversational ease and familiarity - it's in Latin. There are subtitles.
It is rumored that a certain member of the LCMS ministerium also gave the Latin oration at his commencement from Harvard College. It is said he had the last sentence of his speech removed by the Harvard pc police. The line was his version of "Carthago delenda est!" It was "Yale delenda est!"
I love it. Latin discourse lives, even outside of Papal conclave homilies.
