The War Against Satan

I'm glad someone is taking the war against evil seriously - while the hierarchy of the LCMS is busying itself with Ablaze, pushing contemporary worship and church marketing, selling bobbleheads of Martin Luther, and finding ways to ordain pastors with barely any education at all.

... sed libera nos + a malo. Amen.

The prayer the article references was part of prayers after Low Mass set by Popes Leo XIII and Pius XI for the conversion of (then Communist) Russia

The Hail, Mary (Ave Maria) is said three times, then the Hail Holy Queen (Salve Regina), a verse response, then a concluding prayer followed by the St Michael prayer the article mentions:

Holy Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do Thou, Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits, who wander through the world, seeking the destruction of souls.

Sancte Michael Archangele, defende nos in proelio, contra nequitias et insidias diaboli esto praesidium. Imperet illi Deus, supplices deprecamur: tuque, Princeps militiae caelestis, Satanam aliosque spiritus malignos, qui ad perditionem animarum pervagantur in mundo, divina virtute in infernum detrude.

Cor Jesu sacratissimum
(Most Sacred Heart of Jesus)
Miserere nobis
(Have mercy on us) 3x.

Got axed early in the whole Vatican II thing, by John XXIII.

The producer of the bobblehead Luther for CPH (I think it was Old Lutheran) also sells clergy girl dolls. I guess that's what they're going to be pushing next.
