Tax Dollars at Work, Part 2,312

Alice in Wonderland, meet George Orwell. George, say "Hello" to Alice...

This is what it takes to be a criminal in Nanny State England these days.

TO Father and Mrs. Hollywood:

GLAD TIDINGS, Luke 24:1-11, 4-4-2010

Through the prophet Hosea (6:1-2), God once promised all of his beloved sons, “Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces, but he will heal us; he has injured us, but he will bind up our wounds. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence.”

From the cross Jesus prayed, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last.

On Easter morning we witness the fulfillment of this promise in Jesus’ life and the vindication of Jesus’ faith in this promise.

This Easter morning "two men" will stand beside us and say, “He has risen!” Because he lives, we too shall live eternally. We shall be like the angels (Luke 20:36) when our bodies, sown in the earth as physical bodies, are raised as spiritual bodies (I Corinthians 15:44). Thanks be to God who gives us this victory through our lord Jesus Christ, who is the first fruits of our resurrecion.

So, greet one another with joy this Easter morning: “He is risen! … The lord is risen indeed!” Alleluia!

Easter Blessings! Theophilus
