I totally disagree with Ron Paul's foreign policy.
Here's an article from a survival board written by Selco, a guy who went through the Balkans wars. You might find the survival stuff boring but read what he says about the foreign influence. The UN was useless, it was the US troops that finally calmed things down and saved the people.
We needed to fight the terrorist. It would be a crime to just leave the people of Afganistan broken and under the heel of the Taliban again. I refuse to leave crying and weeping Afghans like the generation before me did to those in Vietnam and Korea.
Yeah, it's no fun trying to grow a people. It took God 40 years in the desert to change the Israelites but he started from scratch.
While serving in a previous ministerial call, I had to moonlight at the local Hollywood Video to pay for health insurance for the family. It took one of my coworkers a couple weeks before she stopped addressing me as "Father" and started using my first name.
